Entrances to Vatican Activities

Are entrances for Basilica, Climbing the Dome, Tomb, Grotto, Gardens, Museum/Sistine Chapel all at the same spot?

We are not in a rush and would like to break up visit into multiple days. How would be best to do this?

The museum entrance is separate from the Basilica entrance and is a good 20-30 minute walk.

At least 2, maybe 3 different entrances. As mentioned the Museums/Sistine Chapel (the end point of the route through the museums) entrance is a good ways distant from the Basilica. I'm pretty sure the garden tour starts from that location as well (the garden ticket also gets you into the museums/Sistine Chapel).

The main Basilica/Dome/Grotto entrance is on the right side of the piazza as you face the Basilica. The Vatican website indicates that you need "special permission" to visit to papal tombs (what you mean by Grotto I think) but I'm about 99% sure we've visited without any special anything. Be aware that the trip to the top of the dome is narrow and sort of "tilted" so if you have any trouble with confined spaces or steep, narrow stairways, be a little cautious.

If by "Tomb" you mean the Vatican Necropolis, that entrance is at the left side of the Basilica. You must make reservations in advance to visit the "scavi".

Any guide book to Rome will have all the information you need.
