Soccer games

Is there a way I can purchase tickets for any soccer game while i am visiting rome. I will be there from October 28-November 5. Also my wife says if I watch a soccer game I will have to see an opera or play. Any suggestions where I can get more information. Thanks in advance.

Can't help you on the opera or theatre but there will be a couple of football on while you are there.

The top football teams in Rome are Roma and Lazio who both share the Stadio Olimpico just north west of the city centre. On the 29th of October, Lazio are hosting Reggina and on the 5th, Roma are home to Fiorentina. Games are almost always played on a Sunday, normally in the afternoon or evening and tickets for these games will be fairly easy to source.

I couldn't find any prices but they will probably be anywhere from €30 upwards.

You could try www.romalazio.com (ticketbroker) or the official web club web sites. Or try Googling for 'roma calcio' or lazio calcio' - calcio being the Italian word for football.

Italian football supporters are extremely passionate about their teams, expect noise, fireworks and flares. You'll have a great experience!

Try searching for "football" - not soccer(!) - on this forum. You will find several threads about buying tickets.

Good Luck!

I understand that Listicket are the official suppliers of tickets like - Ticketmaster in UK. I will be booking for a game on the 22nd of October.
