Are there organised tours from Tivoli to Rome?

We are staying in Tivoli for 6 nights soon, having an airport transfer from Rome, so don't have a car. Although we want to spend most of our time in Tivoli, we wondered if there are organised day trips to Rome to see some of the highlights? We realise most day trips are the reverse, going from Rome to Tivoli for the day. Hope someone can give advice, thank you very much for your help.

My wife and I took a day tour the usual way, from Rome to Tivoli three weeks ago. We booked it online before we left home, based on reviews we'd seen here. It was an excellent tour. Our guide was a gentleman named Peppe. He spoke very good English, and it's a good thing he did because he talked a lot. He is very knowledgeable and will talk as much or as little as you wish. The following day we toured Rome with him. That was another excellent tour.

We booked both tours at allarounditaly.com.

You can actually do the opposite: stay in Tivoli, as you're doing, and go to Rome for daily tours. This will keep you away from the bustle of the City and will let you enjoy the easy and relaxed (but not boring!) life of the Province. There are trains and buses to Rome every 30 minutes and you can look for local guides in both the cities.
