driving and parking in Parma

How difficult is it to drive into Parma and park at a hotel there? Would it be better to stay outside the town and take public transportation in the center? Thanks.

Drive into Parma is easy, just follow the signs... Some city hotels have a free parking. Take one of those. Car can be useful for outside trips... city bus lines are operative and easy to use.

You would best appreciate Parma by staying in Parma and it’s not difficult to drive in Parma.

You would appreciate a car for exploring the province outside the city.

If you have concerns about driving and parking in Parma, you could leave the car at an exchange parking outside the city and take the shuttle to the city.

And also the local bus schedules.

Buone Feste!
