Help - travelling to Rimini alone!

OK, so how idiot proof is it really?

The last weekend in September I'm travelling to Rimini on my own. I don't speak any Italian (but I am trying - I've got the CD on in the car and at home)!

I'm travelling to Bologna airport (don't ask!) and it looks like I need to get a taxi to Bologna train station then get a train from Bologna to Rimini and then get from the train station to my hotel (I think it's Hotel Polo.

Can you book train tickets in advance or is it just as easy to use the kiosk or ticket machine if there is one?

Any tips? Any advice??'

Hi Lou,

it's very easy, Bologna airport is not that big. From the airport just take the Airport Shuttle bus to the train station. Buses leave from outside the 'arrivals' at the ground floor:

For the train there is no need to pre-book, at the station you can buy tickets either at the ticket-machine or at the desk (some staff speaks english). Timetables at:
