Worth visiting on rainy or cloudy day?

Thinking of taking a day trip from Florence. Worth it on a cloudy day?

The area, like most places in the world, is much better when it's sunny as the beach, the boat and the trails are closed when it's raining. If it's simply overcast, you can still appreciate the villages by boat and easily take the train around to visit them. I think it's still worth it, yes.
