There is a small multi-level car park in Riomaggiore at the entrance to the village. Some accommodations in Riomaggiore rent garages in this for the use of their clients - reservations usually advisable in advance. Otherwise you will be dependent upon there being available spaces when you arrive.
Please be advised that Cinque Terre had a devasting mud slide on Oct. 25. Vernazza was nearly destroyed, but is slowly making a recovery. Many of the trails were also destroyed and work is being done to restore them. The villages do need the support of tourism and are opening their doors again. Check the Facebook page.....Save Vernazza ....for updates of their recovery.
Riomaggiore was not damaged at all in the flood in October, and save for a handful of places in Monterosso, everything is open - only Monterosso and Vernazza were damaged in the Cinque Terre. Vernazza is opening up in the coming weeks, and even has some restaurants open now. For information I suggest checking out www.rebuildmonterosso.com and savevernazza.com
