How to get from Genoa to Cinque Terre

We are flying into Genoa and need to make our way to Cinque Terre straight from the airport (we do not yet have a hotel in Cinque Terre so cannot give exact town yet).

Can anyone please advise what is the easiest/safest/fastest way to get to Cinque Terre.

Thanking you in advance.

Take a taxi or shuttle bus(3 euros) to the train station;then take the train. There is no need to prebook the train.

All of the train information is here:www.trenitalia.com

Previous post is correct.

You can get the taxi from the airport.. it takes 20 min to get to the train Station (Genova Principe) and it will cost you about 20 / 25 €. There is also a bus departing from the airport every 15 min and it takes you exactly to the station and it costs 1 € each.

Trains to CT depart from Genoa quite often.. do not need to bbok in advence..

If you have an extra day I suggest a stop in Genoa town. you can find suggestion on hotels restaurants etc exploring the Forum.
