Luggage storage update??

Hello,

I saw a 2009 posting about luggage storage at La Spezia Station. Is this still accurate? Can this be done quickly, because the layover time is around 10 minutes to Monterosso?

Thank you..

Yes, but if you only have 10 minutes, just bring it to Monterosso and store it there at the laundromat off of Via Molinelli in the New Town

What is the opening hour for luggage storage in La Spezia station? Or can I store my luggage in Cinque Terre?

Seconding the advice of CM28. You can ditch the bags at the Wash'n'Go lavanderia on Via Molinelli, no more than a five-minute walk from the train station. From the station, face the sea and turn right away from the tunnel to the Old Town, then turn right on Via Molinelli. You'll see a restaurant on the right called La Barcaccia. Across the street on the left there is a commercial building and a wide alley--go down the alley to the lavanderia, which you can't really see from the street. IIRC we paid 5 euros per bag to leave them for the day, but this was vastly preferable to dragging them up and down the coast all day. The woman in charge issued a receipt so it seems safe and legit, even though your bags will simply be pushed off to the side among piles of laundry.
