Where to stay in Bellagio?

My wife and I are planning a 2 night stay in September this year and want opinions for a recommended hotel. Our budget will allow up to approx AUS$220 per night. We are a young couple in our early 60's. We would ideally like a suitable view of the lake.

Hi, the Metropole would be a good option as it is directly in front of the lake.

Hi

Have you considered an apartment - we stayed at Maria's Apartment and loved it. It would be within your budget.

Lots of windows, spacious and an outlook over a small piazza and narrow street from the balcony and from another window there is a small view of the lake. Maria is enthusiastic and eager to please. Downstairs is an alimentari, a gelato shop and cafe...what more could you need????

There are 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a lounge/kitchen/dining area.

Maybe Borgo le Terrazze Apartments. They have a spectacular view, are very new, a little out of town, although walkable, and with a courtesy shuttle service.
