train from como lago to venice

Is there a train that runs from the Como Lago station in Como that would go to the Santa Lucia station in Venice or would we need to go to the Como San Giovanni station? I'm assuming there would be a connection or change in Milan? We will then be going from Venice toRoma Termini in Rome if there any tips for that as well?

Train schedules www.trenitalia.com Click on the UK flag for current train times, enter 08 to view all departure times.

You can book intercity trains 120 days in advance, cheap train tickets have restrictions.

Go to Como S. Giovanni - many trains from there go to Milano Centrale where the Venice trains leave from. The remainder go to Milano Porta Garibaldi which is two stops away from Centrale on the metro.

Trains from Como Lago go to Milano Cadorna, which is the other side of the city centre from Centrale.

See www.trenitalia.com for times from Como S. Giovanni to Venezia S. Lucia, clicking the UK flag first for English..
