linate airport bus, has anyone used it?

I need to get from linate to the centre of milan. I read about this airport bus. It is well priced at 5e a head and claims to have a 30min frequency from 6am to 2330.

the info is in italian. it says it leaves linate from arrivi no 6. i take this is bus bay 6 in front of arrivals or arrivals terminal 6, exit 6 ? has anyone caught this bus? do you know where the bus stop is? thanks

First of all, the ATM website has also an English version: atm-mi.it/en/…airbus.aspx

Then there also is another coach service to Milan's central station: autostradale.it/pdf/…Linate01_02_13.pdf

Lastly, if you need to go to the city center, perhaps ATM's city buses #73 or #X73 might be more convenient.

"Arrivi" means "arrivals" (hall), which basically means ground floor as "departures" is the level above. And 6 should be the exit number - although if these are exits, there appear to be only 5 on here! ifly.com/milan-linate-LIN-airport/terminal-m… !

Anyway, the buses are signposted from the inside, and depart from just outside the arrivals hall. The terminal isn't very large.

Just follow the indications for the bus and you'll find it easily, you pay the bus driver as you get on and it takes about 30/40 minutes depending on the traffic.

Make sure you know the timetable as there will probably be one coach/minibus waiting from each company and if you get on the wrong one you will be waiting 15 minutes longer.

These buses are there for connection with Central Train station or Malpensa/Orio airports.

To go downtown take the normal bus #73, ticket 1,5E, connects to MM2.
