Help with renting a car in Milan

We are arriving in Malpensa airport at 23:30 (So we probably won't be out of the airport before 00:30), on the next morning we need to rent a car to go to Tuscany.

We thought about booking a hotel next to the airport because probably at such late hour the only transportation will be extremely expansive taxis.

On the next morning we can rent a car either at the airport or take a train to the city center and take the car from there.

The first option: Takes less time but much more expansive (70 euro)

The second option: Takes more time but much cheaper

What do you think is the best thing to do? Do you know a car rental that is near one of the train stations in Milan?

Why don't you rent a car upon your arrival at mxp (i strongly recommend avis or hertz) and then go to sleep at b&b malpensa in cardano, close to the airport and cheap, and the next morning leave for tuscany?
