Paper public transport tickets

Paper public transport tickets

I am going to Milan this week and I was sorting through my old travel documents and came across 3 unused paper public transport vouchers in amongst them. I think I bought them in about 2006 and forgot about them. Does anyone know if they will still be valid after they changed to magnetic systems?

Not a biggie if they aren't as they aren't worth much but more curious than anything else.

You can exchange your expired tickets with new ones (paying the price difference) at any of the 'ATM point' offices - see list at http://www.atm.it/en/Pages/Contacs.aspx
