One night near Linate?

Hi. We're flying back to NYC from Linate, and I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a cool town, within an hour of the airport, for our last night in Italy. We will have done Rome, and possibly Florence, so didn't want to end in another big city like Milan. Are there any great towns to stay this one night? We'll be arriving from the south, with our car.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Pavia is about the closest city worthwhile visiting: a nice relaxed historical university town, with easy parking and interesting sights. Great central square for aperitivo and some good restaurants. Highly recommended! For an english downloadable guide see here: duepadroni.it/PDF_bestanden/…20paviaENG.pdf

Otherwise trymy free app Milan & More with also lots of info on Pavia: http://milan-city-guide-app.duepadroni.it/

Have a nice stay

Thanks Steff,

probably hard to say, but is that the better choice over an afternoon and night in Milan?

thanks again
