Planning walks in South Tyrol and the Dolomites

Hi there

There are lots of people asking about walk planning in the area. I posted this link a while back, but it has sunk, so I'll post it again and try and link it to the FAQs.

The South Tyrol region has launched an online application which may help with your walk planníng.

It's an interactive online database of most of the walking tracks in the region. I've had a little play, and you can search for your starting place and ending place, and it'll give you a map, tell you how much "up" there is, and approximately how long it's going to take you.

This is the link to the website http://www.trekking.suedtirol.info/index.php

Have fun!
