3 nights in March

My wife and Inare planning a short visit in March 11-14. I realize qeather will be iffy, but what about mosquitos that time of year? Also are any things closed then? Will mosquitos be an issue? Any other possible things to be proared for that time of yar?

We are looking at possibly renting Ca' Dolcetta as friends have stayed there before https://www.tripadvisor.com/VacationRentalRe…

Any inexpnsive restaurants in that area?

Wheres a good place for Spritz and ciccheti nearby?

Thanks

You should not be bothered by mosquitos in mid-March.

I was certainly bothered by mosquitoes at the beginning of March (1st - 4th) a few years ago.. I got bites on my face and fingers. The weather at the time was very mild and sunny in the daytimes but chilly once the sun went down.

I myself been unable to find DEET based repellant in Italy when I have visited. I am a mosquito magnet and those natural based repellant don't seem to work for me. I take Ultrathon whenever I visit Europe

Normally March would not be bad for Mosquitoes, make sure windows at closed at night, and get a plug in repellent,

My wife and I will be there from 13th-18th, cool to hear another Texan will be around as well. I order DEET wipes from Amazon so I plan to bring some as a just in case since I tend to get eaten alive when I go outside. Better have them and not need them then not. Last year a buddy of mine was in Italy in March and he was wearing a t-shirt in a lot of his pics so it could be warm.
