Last minute plans!!!!!!!!!!

Hello all, I'm leavin in three days for Venice and Rome. I'll be there for two weeks. I've got everything planned out. BUT, is there anything else I can do to make this trip to Italy perfect? This is my honeymoon.

Cherish and adore your wife. Buy her flowers at one of the many flower markets. If your hotel room has a bathtub, sneak a small candle in your luggage. Fix her a bath (use some of the flower petals from the bouquet you've bought) add the candle, some chocolates and bring her a glass of wine. Treat your new wife like a queen and she will treat you like a king!

Definately take a walk along the waterside at sunset in Venice. The tourists are mostly gone by then and its a beautiful sight :)

Im sure giving her a massage and feeding her grapes and some spumati would be good too ;)

The very fact you are asking and want to make this unforgettable, means it will be perfect. Try to relax and enjoy the experience, taking the time to sit in cafes, listen to the sounds and just wander down side streets. You both will have a magical time in Italy!

In Venice there are some great cafe/bars to sit at a table, watch the world go by and enjoy a spritz or a beer or a glass of wine or a lemon-soda. We like Campo Santa Margherita in Dorsoduro and Campo Santo Stefano in San Marco but if it is your honeymoon you can be forgiven for paying the earth for a coffee at one of the luxury cafes in San Marco and listening to the orchestra.

A good dinner and a bottle of wine is the best way to spend an eveing and then a stroll along the waterfront - the Zattere or the Riva Schiavoni are great for an evening walk. Some of the great churches such as Santa Maria della Salute are floodlit at night and a dinner where you have a floodlit view is great.
