Can someone please advise if www.isango.com is a good website to pre book gondola rides? I saw that they were offering them for about $55 as opposed to the 80 Euro I have seen elsewhere. Please help as i am trying my hardest to pre book and pay for stuff in advance of my June trip to Italy.

isango.com/italy-tours/venice-tours/venice-g…

Much Thanks!

This I think you will find is for a group of Gondolas in flotilla,,

with Music , It depends what you want, this or a Gondola just for you and who ever is in your party,

If I am reading it correctly, the price (about $55) on that site is "per person", while the price supplied by Sophie is "per gondola".

The main difference is that for the €80 you get a ride with up to 5 of your closest friends (that you pick, though sans music, at least for €80) while for €41 you get to ride (with music) with up to 5 people Isango managed to wrangle together for your ride.

It is possible to pre-book a gondola directly through the gondolier's cooperative ( http://www.gondolieri.it/en/itinerari.php ), with additional services offered too "ala carte", like music and wine, which are not included in the "official" fares Sophia linked, which are only for the "transportation" portion of the ride (since, though it may seem odd, gondolas are still classified as a form of "public transportation", technically).

Thank you so much for clearing that up. I was thinking it was 80 Euro per person.
