queues for Venice connected cards at Marco Polo

Hi all

anyone tell me if the queue to pick up Venice Connected cards ordered online is the same queue as to actually buy them at the airport?

Still wondering if to order online- bit dubious about risking 150euros ( for 3) if delayed or cancelled, or to pay the extra 30 euros to purchase at the airport.

If the queue is the same one I might well purchase on arrival.

If buying online meant less queueing that might have been an incentive to order online.

Have to do it today though if i'm going to do it at all!

To be honest I do not know about queues, I would never think that bad,

you are just going to save buying on line in advance,

I know you haave worried re the ash problem, but hopefully seems ok now,

would think saving €30 would be worth it,

When you going, seeman age since you were making plans,

Hi sophie

Am going a week tommorrow.

I am worried still about the potential re-surgence of the ash cloud particularly as the insurance will only pay out in certain circumstances and for certain things- travel cards not one of them.

If the only advantage of buying oniline is saving 30 euros- i'm not sure I wouldn't rather pay that than risk the whole £150.00 by buying online and then not travelling. Don't know really what to do.

The Venice Connected airport booth serves those who have previously reserved and those who wishes to buy on the spot.

It is a bit confusing when the one booth serves other services too and only one window is allocated to Venice Connected.

The queue was not too long though each tourist who were confused as to the window arrangement would tend to have many many questions. I still it is worth while buying a discounted price online.
