Water taxi to hotel - one price or per person?

Hi

The last time I paid about 100E for a water taxi, which was fine. I was alone so I don't know if that was a per person price.

This time I'm taking my parents. I would expect the 100E to be for the ride regardless of number of people, right?

Thanks.

The priice is for your party, , (up to 4 people after that a small excess)

the price should approx €100 could be just a little more,

Correct. It might vary a bit, but around 100 euros.

Roralism, that sounds about right. You might email Matteo at the hotel to confirm that it is a "solid" price for the hotel. Enjoy that beautiful place on the GC.

Alilaguna ferries are not Water Buses ( Vaporetti) , they are a service that just run from the Airport to Venice, there are several lines, the only one which goes along the Grand Canal is the Arancio line, this covers the Rialkto area entering Venice from the North via Cannaregio Canal,

other lines go to San Marco which is the start of the Grand Canal,,.

We(a group of 4with luggage)took a water taxi from St.Lucia train station to our hotel near St. Marks for 60 euro.We were told 80 euro by our hotel info.It was well worth the price after a long day of travel and it took about 20 minutes versus 40 minutes on a crowded public water taxi. Also our hotel had a private dock and thats whjere we were taken.Just make sure you get the fare before you get on the taxi.

With a party of people a Water Taxi is a good option, but works out expensive with just a couple or a single person,
