Private boat to hotel

After arriving at airport, can you just go down to get a boat to your hotel? do you need to order one at a desk near customs? or do you need to pre-order?

Thanks for the help.

If you want to take a water taxi, there is a desk in the public part of the Arrivals area, just before the exit. There is no need to pre-order: there are always water taxis at Marco Polo, just like there are ordinary taxis at other airports. It will cost around €100 to get to Venice.

you can pre-book through venice link, which is €85. Not a huge savings but one less thing for me to pay for on the spot.

Sophie, if you look at the link it is also available as a private transfer, which I used this past Feb. As I said not a huge discount from the posted tariff.

caffee I had never really explored that link before, the services are superb for people who might have some difficulties managing luggage etc. I see it is actually an Alilaguna service.

I like the cruise port to city links too.

Thanks for the information.
