Tronchetto Garage to Murano

Looking for suggestion on how to get from the Tronchetto Parking Garage to the Glass Museum on Murano.

It seems I can take the Vaporetto Number DM from Piazzale Roma to Murano but wan't to know if there is a better route.

No easier way only the number 2 goes from Tronchetto, that goes to Piazzale Roma from there the DM and the 42 go to Murano Museo,

No, that seems to be your best route. Take the #2 to Piazzale Roma, then the DM. But are you going to go straight to Murano and bypass Venice itself? Murano is so much of a tourist trap - it is glass shop after glass shop and supposedly much of it is really not from Murano any more. There is so much more to see and do on Venice.

I am firmly of the opinion that visting Murano for the sake of the glass factories is a waste of time and effort but there are good things on the island - the Glass Museum, Santi Maria e Donato, S. Pietro Martire for the paintings and some good restaurants as well.
