Hotel for a short midweek stay for a couple recommendations?

Hi

We are going to Venice in the middle of may for 2 nights (that works out 1 1/2 days to explore really so looking for a romantic, modern decor hotel centrallyish located so we get to do most things no more than £200 a night (which appears to be the price range at that time of year). We are flying to Venice so somewhere with good acces for airport also helpful.

Thanks in advance.

We flew into Venice too and found it very easy to get around. We stayed at Al Duca di Venezia....beautiful rooms, very romantic, friendly, helpful staff. No matter where you stay you in Venice it will be easy to walk to everywhere.

I like a B&B called Corte 1321. It is very central and lovely place. Check reports here on TripAdvisor.
