Early morning flight out of Marco Polo

Our flight leaves at 6:30 am. The apartment manager suggests we walk to Piazzale Roma and catch a cab. It's an easy walk. He says there are cabs there 24 hours. Has anyone done this? I'm just looking for additional verification that I'll be able to find a cab there at 4 am.

I don't think the airport opens until 5 am, so no point in taking a taxi at 4! The first bus goes at 4.40.

Sometimes they are there- however if there are a few people then they get taken obviously. also look at the actv buses . They can get you there in tiem as well.Or you can prebook a land taxi with driver - this will cost a bit more but at least you are guaranteed .

Depends where your Apartment is, may be easier to get a aporetto to Piazzale Roma, with luggage, they do run 24/7
