Airport transfers - please help

Hi All,

I have been looking into the transfer options from the airport in Venice to around the main Rialto bridge. I would like a private, or small, boat transfer but am confused by all the options! Please can you offer any advice?

Thanks very much!

The only private one is a Water Taxi which is expensive at around €110, otherwise it is Alilaguna Ferry, which is not that small, Arancio line €15 per person, or Bus to Piazzale Roma then a Vaporetto (Water Bus ) to Rialto,

If you're looking for a private transfer, than taxi or shared taxi is. Expect to pay €110 for a private watertaxi ( …venezia.it/flex/…3D19521 ) or at least €19 per person for a shared transfer ( www.venicelink.com/index.php… ).

Otherwise there are different and cheaper options by public transport.

If you pre-book and pre-pay both ways in advance with Consorzio Motoscafi, it will cost 85 Euro each way for the grand total of 170 Euro. Not a bargain by any means but is fast and very comfortable.

There are 2 buses from the airport to P de Roma across from the Venice train station (you have to either take a vaporetto one stop to walk across a bridge (if you are talking about the train station in Mestre) you take the bus right to it…don't remember the costs…

But it is better to start your own thread to get the answers you want…not everyone who knows the answers to your question will come to this thread….

Both ACTV and ATVO provide buses between the airport and Venezia Mestre railway station, the ticket costs €6.
