You take a bus from the airport to Bologna station, then a train to Venezia Santa Lucia. The train takes 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the kind of train you take. See www.trenitalia.com

From the vaporetto stop outside the station, take Line 1 towards San Marco and get off at San Agnelo. See your hotel's web site.

bus to Bolona station from airport then train to Venice Santa Lucia ( see trenitalia.it) .

From the rail station vaporetto No1 to St Angelo . Its quite tricky to find so i would print off a map and walking instructions.

Bus to train station tper.it/content/…airportENGstation

Trains at www.trenitalia.com - click UK flag for English and enter Bologna Centrale to Venezia S. Lucia and your 'hour' of departure e.g. '13' for 13.00

Regional trains cost €11.05 and Frecciabianca €30 on the day.

On the day you will pay as already advised in reply 3. A €9 ticket bought in advance will be worthless if you miss your booked train due to a delayed flight.
