Things to do in Venice

Hi Everyone! =D

I have done a little bit of researching but I still do need a lot of help.

Currently what I have gotten are to St. Mark's Basilica and cruise the grand canal (Vaporetto).

I would love to have some input on what to do and where to explore in the city itself.

Lastly, I read about island tours. Are they worthwhile? If they are, which island would you suggest?

I have about 4 days to spare in this beautiful city! =D

Thank you all so much.
