Tenitalia to Milan

Just want to make sure I have the correct stations befor booking with trenitalia.

I believe it is Venezia S. Lucia to Milano Centrale, This should take us from the train station right in Venice to the Central Train Station in Milan where we can walk to the Duamo, Castle, to See the Last Supper, etc.

Is this correct?

Yes, it is correct if you are staying on the islands, the historic part of Venice. If you are staying on the mainland, aka Mestre, the nearest station would be Venezia Mestre.

From Milano Centrale I'd take the metro to the Duomo. Milan is big, get a map with metro lines and attractions.

Is this the same way one would get from , one of the Venice Hotels Close to St Mark's and trying to get to Florence?

You would take a vaporetto from St Mark's to Ferrovia (Railway) which is at Venezia Santa Lucia station. Then take a train to Firenze Santa Maria Novella.
