non fish restaurant

Looking for a non totally fish restaurant for Sunday....would love a good pomodoro or bolognese sauce. Any suggestions...location not a factor...it is our last night. Thanks!

ai Gondolieri almost opposite across the canal from the Peggy Guggenheim Museum on Fondamenta Zorsi Bragadin in Dorsoduro is a meat restaurnt almost entirely free of seafood items on its menu.

Tthe same is true of Marisa on Fondamenta San Giobbio in Cannaregio

However if all you want is a good pomodoro or ragu (not Bolognese please) sauce on your pasta then almost all Venetian restaurants will oblige with such standard dishes.

I have spent some time in Venice, and I find it hard to think of any restaurant that serves only fish. The ones I have been to all offered meat and pasta as well as fish.

However, you will not find any good Italian restaurant serving anything like an American spaghetti bolognese, as this is an American dish.
