As you are spending 2 days at Lake Garda maybe it would be best to base yourself there and take a day trip into Verona.

Arriving by train from where? Someone asked in another post about getting from Milan to Garda and were going into Verona to come back to Garda...

Might be cheaper to stay at Peschiera or Desenzano and take the train into Verona.

Hi, I agree with the suggestions that you may be better to base yourself at the lake and travel to Verona by bus/train. This is the opera season at the Arena in Verona, so you may find it difficult to find accommodation in the city.

Having said that, you may also find it difficult to get accommodation for only a few nights, as many places prefer to rent by the week in summer.

You can try some of these sites for accommodation at Lake Garda:

www.gardainforma.com

www.lagodigardamagazine.com

www.gardapass.com
