Marco Polo to Verona

What is the easiest way to travel from Marco Polo airport Venice to Verona please? How long will the journey take? I am travelling alone on Monday, landing at around 16:30.

Then on Wednesday I need to travel from Verona to Lido di Jesolo. Presume a train to Mestre then bus to Lido di Jesolo? How long will this take? I then need to get to St Mark's Venice by 2 pm.

Thanks for any advice.

From Marco Polo you need to catch a Bus to Mestre (vENICE ) Station,

there is a regular service from out side the Terminal taking approx 20 minutes,

Mestre to Verona is approx 1.hour 30 mins,

From Verona to Lido di Jesolo, about 2.5-3 hours.

www.atvo.it

From Lido di Jesolo to San Marco, about 1.5 hours (ATVO and vaporetto).

You won't have much time in Lido di Jesolo...

Many thanks both for your replies - I am just dropping my bag off in Jesolo before attending a concert in Venice then returning to Jesolo that evening for 2 days!

Plan B was to travel Verona - Venice mestre, leave my bag in Venice mestro, spend the day in Venice, then return to Mestro station after the Venice concert to pick up the bag to travel to Jesolo. Is that a better idea? ie is transport to Jesolo fairly easy from Mestre? I do want to minimise time travelling that day. But of course I have to travel Mestro - St.Marks twice so that may take longer (but perhaps more pleasant and less rushed?)

Jesolo to St. MArk you can consider also bus to Punta Sabbioni, then waterbus (Vaporetto/motonave) directly to Riva degli Schiavoni close st. Mark (once an hour).

With a nice cruise along the lagoon.

Ciao

Many thanks - that is what I did in the end! The journey from Marco Polo to Verona was simple and easy, thanks - bus then very good train, and all easy to find.

Then the next step I took the train from Verona to St Marks SAnta Lucia, then vaporetto down to St. Marks, but had terrible trouble getting to San Giorgio MAggiore as the #2 dropped me off a long way from the station/stop for this boat. I had a very hot run along St Mark's to get the right boat. I was late for a concert and asked taxi's how much for the 2 minute journey and was quoted 30 Euro! So I continued until I got the right stop for the public boat (and had to pay again!) So a very stressful afternoon!

However after the concert I did go to Jesolo via Punta Sabbioni and the boat along the lagoon. So in the end a very successful journey! Thanks both for your help.
