Agrigento area touring logistics

We plan to spent about three nights in the Agrigento area visiting the archaeological sites and towns. What are your recommendations considering our short stay? What's not to be missed? Where would be the best place to stay? Is a visit to Mozia practical?

Usually one night would be enough in Agrigento for the archaeological site, unless you have other specific interests...in the area, Sciacca would deserve a visit, and Scala dei Turchi if you have a car.

Mozia is far from Agrigento! Trapani would be the preferred base for Mozia.

A visit to Mozia is not practical from Agrigento.

Visit Agrigento's Valley of the Temples, Giardino della Kolymbetra, Museo Archeologico Regionale di Agrigento, the Scala dei Turchi, Eraclea Minoa, and Selinunte.

You might arrange lunch and tasting at Planeta's Ulmo cantine in Sanbuca di Sicilia.
