Palermo bus

Since we will be in Palermo for a month and plan on taking local buses around Paletmo, is there a weekly/monthly pass for visitors that would give one a discount or unlimited travel for that period.

Thank you again

Find ticket information and rates on the AMAT website.

Thank you Vagabonda. I checked the AMAT website and there are indeed discounts if you buy multiple tickets. One more question and pardon my asking if the answer is obvious..

What What is the difference between an ordinary ticket and a day ticket ( other than the price)?

Does the day ticket take you farther? Can we go as far as Mondello on the ordinary ticket?

Grazie for your help.

The day ticket is valid all day long, stamping the ticket on the first bus, you can go on any AMAT bus for the entire day.

Ordinary ticket (single fare) is valid on any bus, to Mondello or anywhere else, for 90 minutes since stamped (on board).

The day ticket is really a good value if you expect to take buses throughout the day anywhere AMAT services.
