We are driving from Florence to Cinque Terre. we have 4 days to spend in Tuscany before we arrive in CT. Where can I find a map that gives distances ( and time) between towns?

We want to visit Arrezo, San G , Siena and possibly Lucca.

Where is the best place to stay? We found a b&B in Arezzo that we like & thought we would stay there 2 nights & then go to San G(visit Siena from there) & then head north to CT.

Does that work?

1. Re: Distances

Use www.viamichelin.com to find distances, time, directions...

IMO I would pick one location within Tuscany and make that your base.

Arezzo is "ok" as a base but better might be a location in the Val d'Orcia area (Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, etc. But with only 4 days, you need to eliminate some of your desired destinations - most likely Lucca. You can do some combinations of places to make the most of your days, i.e.:

Arezzo & Cortona - 1 day

Siena - 1 day

San G & Volterra - 1 day

Some combination of towns in Val d'Orcia - 1 day
