Dining Inquiry

We are planning a trip to the Cortona region of Italy. We will be there for two days and are interested in dining recommendations.

This might help:

cortonaweb.net/en/eating/9-restaurants-and-p…

I personally like:

Osteria del teatro

Nessun Dorma

La Bucaccia

I have had dinner also at Il Falconiere, (which is out of Cortona proper) but find it a bit stuffy and overpriced.

If you go into Arezzo:

Miseria e Nobiltà

I Tre Bicchiere

Buca di San Francesco

Il Cantuccio (my boys love Nonna Augusta!) www.il-cantuccio.it

La Lancia d'Oro

FuFlunns, Trattoria Toscana, and La Grotta are my favorites. I visit Cortona every year.

We loved this place.

Relais la Corte Dei Papi, near Pergo, perhaps 10 to 15 minutes from Cortona.

We visit every year and all the restaurants are pretty good , but our favourites are Dardanos, Fufluns and Ambrosia ( which has just recently opened this year) Enjoy

We really enjoyed Bar 500 for lunch when we were there in September. Great salads and I particularly enjoyed the prosciutto crudo salad.
