tour of secret passages in palazzo Vecchio??

Just came across this in another post. What exactly is this tour and is it worth it? Is this one we need to pre book before our trip in early September?

Thanks for any info.

It's the percorsi segreti tour - have a look here concierge.com/travelguide/…18356 do NOT book in advance. Just show up an hour or so earlier.

Not too sure what is meant here, but there is a tour that you can take which is actually the Vassari Corridor that runs from Palazzo Vecchio all the way up to Pitti Palace.

There's some information here that could help

No, it's not the Vasari corridor tour which is outrageously expensive and not always available. we are talking about the Studiolo di Ferdinando's tour in palazzo vecchio.

the Vasari corridor would also be a real snooze for most kids -- just not that fascinating -- its primary alure is that it is hard to arrange
