escorted side trip to tuscany

My wife and I will be in Florence in mid Nov. We would like to hire a car and driver to take us for a day trip to Tuscany on Friday Nov 20th. Does anyone know a resonably price option? Thanks John

Contact the various drivers/guides mentioned in this site and ask them. i don't think a taxi will cost less.

When you say Tuscany, where exactly do you mean? I'm always confused by this. My cousin wants to go to Tuscany, but where exactly IS Tuscany???

"Tuscany is a region in North-Central Italy. It has an area of 22,990 square kilometres (8,880 sq mi) and a population of about 3.6 million inhabitants. The regional capital is Florence."

I think when most people say they want to go to Tuscany they want to see the vineyards, olive trees, rolling hills, hilltop villas, visit some wineries, and maybe see a castle or two.

For a day trip from Florence, this can typically be done by taking a trip down the Chianti road (SS222) to Siena and back.

Florence is also in the Tuscany region. You can't really go to Florence and Tuscany as you can't go to Paris and France.
