It looks fine to me, you've planned sights in sensible way, geographically.

Don't forget that you should make reservations for the Uffizi and the Accademia.

Enjoy Florence!

I think you will have plenty of time for what you planned, but also enough spare time to add a few more things to do/sights to visit in those areas.

As this is my first time travelling alone. I gave a bit more allowance in terms of time allocation. Any recommendations in terms of shopping or free sites for me to slot into my itineraries? FortySixAnd2

That makes perfect sense and will also allow you to have enough time to enjoy the local food.

Having a quick look at list, you might add: Church of Orsanmichele, located between the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g187895-d1…

Church of S.M. Novella, in front of the train station

And I wouldn't miss the Vasari Corridor tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g187895-d2…

Shopping: the area around the Cathedral. Via dè Tornabuoni/Piazza della Repubblica for luxury shopping
