Church of Dante

We will be in Florence for several days. We have read about the Church of Dante (La Chiesa di Santa Margherita de Cerchi). Is it worth a visit to see?

Thanks for any information.

It's only a little church, but it's worth a look if you are in the neighbourhood, just because it's Dante & Beatrice.

I agree with Pericoloso, if you're in the neighborhood it is worth a look. If a tour group shows up, you'll be very cramped, as it is very small and dark. There's a basket for people to leave love letters.

I think it's definitely worth a look, it's so centrally located that probably you won't have to walk much out of your way to find it.

Yes, I agree with everyone else. It's definitely worth taking a look at. You could visit the Dante museum next door too of you wanted.

If you visit the church, do yourself a favor and pay the 4€ to visit Dante's museum.
