trying to buy train ticket with Trenitalia

Hello !

I am trying to buy train tickets from Ventimiglia to Lucca, with Trenitalia.

After choosing the times and the prices, at the end they ask for a user ID and password.

Also an address to send me the pass in Italy.

So, is there a way to buy tickets from Canada ?

Thank you,

Masaryk

Yes, put a fake Italian address. It's not a pass, it's a fidelity card that you are not going to use anyway.

Ps: there isn't a real reason to buy regional train tickets on line.

Buy the tickets in Lucca. There is no point in buying online.

If you do not want to do the 'fake' address method, simply buy from Ventimiglia to either Viareggio, Pisa or Firenze S. M Novella (depending which is the last change station at on your preferred connection). This can be bought without registration as it does not include a Regional train.

Buy the remaining Regional ticket en route in Ventimiglia, Genoa or the last change station, from a Regional ticket machine with cash to save time at the booking office. Regional trains have no advance reductions and no reserved seats so cannot sell out.

Thank you all.

We thought that it was cheaper to buy train tickets online.
