Pisa travel plans

Hi! My husband and I are arriving into Pisa on a Saturday in September and would like to spend time in Florence and the Amalfi Coast (Sorrento maybe?). Given the Florence museums are closed early in the week, we were thinking doing Amalfi first and then up to Florence before flying out of Pisa again the following Saturday. Would love suggestions on travel between the three locations as well as any ideas on centrally located hotels to see as much as possible while we are there! Thanks very much in advance for your assistance!

The Amalfi coast is really really far, not a daytrip, you are aware of that right?
