Advice please

Hi everyone,

We are coming to Pisa 26th October, staying 1 night before we go onto Florence.

We arrive at 9am in the morning, and room at hotel probs wont be ready, so just a bit of advice what we could do before we check in, will there be places open for breakfast, we are staying at the Bologna Hotel, so near there would be great.

We are going to climb the leening tower of Pisa but not till 2 in the afternoon, incase our flight got delayed.

So is there any other sites we could see before hand, also will be eating out that night can you reccommend anywhere near our hotel which has nice food and not to expensive.

Kinda Regards as always

Hotel Bologna will take your luggage even if you are too early to check in to your room.

Places for breakfast will definitely be open. Italians all eat their breakfast, coffee and a pastry, in a bar. I would head over Corso Italia or over the river to the other side because there is more choice in those areas for breakfast, lunch and dinner). For dinner we liked the area around Piazza San Frediano.

For things to do check a guidebook. Pisa has a lot more than just the leaning tower. Pisa is also a lovely town just to walk around in.

Have you booked your tickets to scale the tower, you must buy 15 days in advance and cannot purchase on the day tickets?

You can buy tickets on the day, you may just have to wait a bit for a slot.
