How to get from the Holy See (Vatican City) to Sienna?

I'm flying into the Leonardo Da Vinci Airport and staying at a hostel next to the Vatican City.

How can I get from the Vatican City to Sienna? What do I take and how long would it take me? Costs?

You take a train from Rome Termini (the main station) to Siena, changing trains at Chiusi. The time and cost depend on whether you travel Rome to Chiusi on an expensive fast train or a cheaper slow one.

You can get train times and costs from www.trenitalia.com/homepage_en.html .

Arthur,

You can also take a bus from Rome Tiburtina to Siena, see http://www.sena.it/index_e.htm

The No. 492 bus has several stops near the Vatican and will take you to Tiburtina without a change. Taking the Metro means a change at Termini.
