We are trying to figure out where we should rent our car while .
We will be staying in Rome for 5 nights in late June and then staying at Agriturismo Marciano for 3 nights. Agro Marciano is approximately 30 minutes outside of Siena. While at the Agriturismo we would like to visit neighboring hill towns (hence the need for a car) and also explore Siena.
Would it be best to take the bus to Siena and rent our car there? I see that Auto Europe has a rental space just outside the walled city. Or take the train from Rome to Siena? Or rent a car in Rome and drive to the Agriturismo (little nervous about this option since I've heard it might be tough navigating)?
Has anyone rented from Auto Europe in Siena and driven to Agriturismo Marciano? Any helpful information would be appreciated!!
