Swiss Pass or Swiss card

Hi,

My family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 youths - is planning a 11-day trip to Switzerland in June.

We intend to stay in Lucerne (4 days), Interlaken (3 days), Zermatt (2 days), St Moritz (1 day) and Zurich (1 day). We plan to take the Glacier Express and the Golden Pass, and perhaps take the excursion rail to Jongfraujoch, Mt Titlis, Mt Pilatus and Gornergrat etc. We'll be travelling also to Rheinfall, Bern and Basel from Lucerne. Some suggest we purchase the 15-day Swiss Pass whilst others recommend the Swiss Card. I'm not sure which is value for money.

Can someone advise?

Sorry the only way to find out is to do the maths. Cost each journey and take it from there, but remember if you use the local transport in many of the major cities the Swiss Pass covers them and many museums, although you only get a discount at the Swiss Transport Museum

Thanks. What about the FlexiPass? If the difference is small, we may just opt for Swiss Pass. FYI, we may only take 2 Panoramic trains - Golden Pass and glacier Express. Main train journeys will be from city to city.

We also plan to go to Rheinfall, Basel and Bern from Lucerne.
