Why swiss pass is not replaceable if lost or stolen?

Hi all

The swiss pass is very expensive item to purchase...i wonder why there js no option to replace the pass if i lose it during my travel in switzerland?

Can i photocopy it and use the copy if i lose the pass?

Thank you

Because nobody is storing your data centrally which would be necessary to replace it. Abd this would be illegal.

And no, a photocopy of a ticket is not a ticket. Just like a photocopy of a passport is not a passport.
