Car Parking Cornavin Train Station

Can anyone advise the availability, cost and safety of leaving a car at or near Cornavin for one night while we go to visit Paris? Also an update on leaving luggage ( big suitcases) - is there a luggage room or adequately sized lockers andis the price reasonable?

There's a big underground and safe car park right in front of the station. Use the bottom 2 floors for better prices rather than the short term first level.

There are both a left luggage office AND lots of lockers at the station. The lockers cost around 10frs/24 hours and I think the max you can use them for is 72hrs, maybe less. The larger ones will take a big and a small suitcase.

I can't tell you exactly where to find them though as the station is in the midst of a major renovation and they keep moving things around. But if you park your car under the station and then go up and look for blue and white signs with a suitcase on them you will find them!

Your car will be safe. There is CC TV. BUT do not leave anything visible in it and please be aware that there are, sadly, pickpockets in the station area. That said, there are also a lot of police.
