What's popular?

Hi there,

Just wondering which cafés/restaurants are popular in the city centre of Geneva? Mostly in relation to lunchtime, but am also interested in where people go for dinner.

Take a look at the restaurant reviews section of TA. Thousands of people have taken the time to answer exactly your question and I find the reviews very helpful. Much better than relying on one person's reply - popular means different things to different people. Starbuck and McDonalds are popular in Switzerland....

Thanks for your advice. I have been reading reviews and was just looking for further opinions on what is popular as that aspect can be difficult to garner when reading reviews, which often cover the reviewer's opinion of the food and service.

Thanks again.

Created 1900, Michelin restaurant guide is imho still the best and most reliable help when looking for good places to eat in France as well as in Switzerland.

In the past, their "Michelin red guide" was a must - now you can still buy it or use a smart-phone application but also simply their website www.viamichelin.ch (change language if required) select city, then restaurant icon at top of map.

Have fun

What kind of food are you up to? And for which month (i.e. terrace possible or not).
