transport free ticket?

Hi All,

I read some old posts mention that there is a 80mins free transport card if u take flight to Geneva airport. Is this type of free transport pass still exist nowadays? thanks

It is still available. Ticket machines are in the luggage hall, by the customs. It is valid for any kind of public transportation.

You have to look for it carefully in the baggage collection hall--it is by the exit (on the right hand side if I recall) and next to a normal ticket machine, so be careful to choose the right one! Once you have exited the baggage hall there is no other free ticket machine.

If you are staying in a hotel they will then issue you with a free travel ticket on check-in for bus, trams and local boats across the lake

"local boats across the lake" - means the "Mouettes" which is a particularly Genevois institution... small boats ferrying back and forth in the harbour. Lots of fun. The lake steamers, on the other hand, are not covered by the Free Transit Pass, even if you only want to ride one across the lake.
